There are several ways to get to Morro de Sao Paulo at different costs. Since Morro de Sao Paulo is located on an island (Tinhare island) you will at one point or another need to take a boat - unless you go by plane.
The cities offering the best connections to Morro de SP are Salvador and Valença. From Salvador the alternatives are are air taxi, ferry boats, catamarans and combinations of bus/car and boat.
If you rely on the bus you will need to go to Valença first and take a boat from there.
Consider the fact that Morro de SP is not that easy to reach a major benefit (instead of an inconvenience) since it has successfully kept mass tourism away from this beautiful place and left more or less unchganged for quite a while now.
