The Second Beach
The second beach is without a doubt the most agitated and most frequented beach of Morro de São Paulo. This beach has a very good infrastructure - having many bach barracks, restaurants, hostels and shops. It is located bext to one of the most beautiful views of the island - the island of 'longing' (Ilha da Saudade) – and its waters are calm and clear - perfect for swimming at all times of the day and all tides.
The 2nd beach posesses a broad area of sand where people sunbath and play football, volley ball, foot volley and exercise capoeira. But this beach is not only frequented during the day - at night this is the beach where all people go to party - often until dawn. So if you are a party animal this beach is where you probabaly should look for your hostel. However, if you are looking for a queit spot you might be better off on another beach.
