The Third Beach
In a little more distance from the village - close to the island of 'longing' and directly besides the 2nd beach lies the third beach. It is 800m long and unlike the 2nd beach it is very narrow and at high tide fully covered with water. A little off the coast you will find a very small island with just one coconut tree on it: Ilha de Caitá. It is sourrounded by a corall reef where you can see many beautiful fish. This is a perfect place for snorkeling and diving.
The The 3rd beach also has a very good infrastruture with many hostels and restaurants and it is the starting point for many boat trips organized by travel agencies..
